HOLE 10 : ENGLAND , Formby , 215 yards . With its part-links , part-heathland , part-parkland and part-woodland layout , Formby on England ’ s Lancashire coast is a unique championship test that ’ s well worth playing . A well struck tee shot is required at the long par-3 10th , situated in an attractive and secluded setting . Pay particular attention to the wind when selecting you club as the tee can be sheltered , plus the three greenside bunkers gather the ball well , so making par is a good score . www . formbygolfclub . co . uk
HOLE 11 : IRELAND , Lahinch ( Old Course ), 170 yards . Situated next to the lovely beach of Liscannor Bay on the County Clare coastline , this enchanting out-and-back links boasts the work of Old Tom Morris and Dr Alistair MacKenzie in its design . Tucked into the dunes at the mouth of the estuary with wonderful Atlantic Ocean views , the green of the stunning par-3 11th , is one of only three original MacKenzie greens that remain . lahinchgolf . com
HOLE 11 : WALES , Royal St . David ’ s , 152 yards . As you play this excellent Welsh links , there are splendid views of the brooding presence of the 13th-century Harlech Castle and a backdrop of the Snowdon Mountains beyond . The 11th hole is a gorgeous par-3 through a gap in the dunes to a blind green .
