Pula Golf was founded in 1995 and completely redesigned by José María Olazábal between 2004 and 2006 to satisfy the demands of international and professional golfers . It has been transformed into a long , demanding course , par 72 of 6,246 m featuring water hazards , two lakes and a river . A large emphasis is on course management and accuracy .
