So what does the Seasonal Demographic look like ?
The tourist demographic changes with the seasons on the Costa del Sol , and at Sunset Beach Club our services and facilities also adapt depending on the time of year . As you would expect , families with children mainly visit during the Summer , Easter , Christmas and Half Term breaks , to tie in with school holidays . During these periods , we have a non-stop schedule of fun and entertainment for all the family from morning until night ! On the other hand , empty nesters and retirees can pretty much choose any other time of year . Clear blue skies and weather that is reliably warmer and drier than back home makes the Costa del Sol a popular choice all year round for sunshine breaks .
So , when is the best time to book a Golf Holiday ?
Without doubt the most popular golfing seasons are March , April , and from mid-September to end of November ; they are also the busiest periods for Golf Courses along the coast . The weather is perfect , and although Green Fee Rates are at their highest , this is somewhat eased by non-peak Room Rates . December , January and February are also becoming more popular with Golfers , as they have learnt over the years that this is also a great time to tee off on the coast ! The skies are actually clearer than other times of year , making the countryside and sea views from the courses quite spectacular . Having to bring a pullover and even a light jacket for the evenings is a small sacrifice to make if you are looking for the best deal because in these months , low season golf rates combine with Winter hotel rates to provide exceptional value for money !

Always a concern when the idea is to enjoy a few dry games of golf , especially when the waterproofs have been overworked back home ! The graph below shows the figures , but it should also be mentioned that a day of rain doesn ’ t always mean 24 hours – this could be

Number of days with rain between 2019-2022 an hour of light drizzle or a downpour over night that clears up in the morning leaving bright skies and good playing conditions . Golf courses in Spain need to have good drainage systems to allow for heavy watering in the hot months , and to facilitate the capture and re-cycling of water through lake systems , so one downpour doesn ’ t necessarily stop play !
