The Real Club de Golf El Prat Golf course comprising of 45 holes and designed by Greg Norman is set in beautiful rolling countryside on the outskirts of Barcelona and is a test for any golfer . The North Course is 5933m Par-72 and the South Course is 6020m Par-72 . El Real Club de Golf El Prat is an exclusive and private club but arrangements can be made to play here . Furthermore the Real Club de Golf El Prat has constructed a public school with its own 9-hole course which is bound to discover new talent for the future as well as improving an existing players game .
Llavaneras
Founded in 1945 , Llavaneres Golf is the fourth oldest private golf club in Catalonia . Initially built only as a 9 hole course , it has been extended and new facilities were added to give it the characteristics of an established club . Its location allows for stunning views , overlooking the Mediterranean to the east , and the coastal mountain ranges to the west . El Maresme , the stretch of coastline just to the north of Barcelona has a very advantageous climate which gives golfers the opportunity to play most days of the year and also appreciate its magnificent , natural gardens as they walk around the course . The newly renovated Llavaneras clubhouse includes a bar-restaurant , pro shop , lounge and games room and the balcony provides a fantastic place to sit back and relax after a round of golf whilst looking out over the sea .
Valleromanes
Vallromanes Golf Club has quickly become one of the most established golf clubs in Catalonia . Designed in 1972 , by prestigious architect Mr F . W . Hawtree , the club has an exquisite “ Masia ” ( traditional country house ) style clubhouse . Although the Vallromanes Golf Club is a private club , arrangements can be made to play . The design of the course provides a constant challenge to the player , but with its stunning views of the mountains and valleys that surround it , it is an ideal place to relax , and combine a great round of golf with beautiful natural surroundings .
Golf de Barcelona
Club de Golf de Barcelona , formally known as Masia Bach Golf Course ,’ was designed by Jose Maria Olazabal and founded in 1990 . This is a very demanding and tight course even for the best of golfers and is sure to prove a test of character ; the shorter 9-hole course however is less demanding and a pleasant playing experience . The course is beautifully maintained and has hosted numerous professional tournaments including the 2007 Catalonia Ladies Masters , part of the Ladies European Tour .
