UGOLF Saurines De La Torre
Designed by Jack Nicklaus , this 6498 metre par-72 course desert style course offers a design which is in many ways like the great desert courses of Las Vegas and Arizona which were also designed by Nicklaus . These can be characterised with wide open undulating fairways which are broken in places by sand dunes , raised and undulating greens add to the test of golf here but very few bunkers on the course help towards a good scorecard . The focal point of many holes is the large 6 acre lake at the centre of the golf course , but with its beauty comes danger , as it ’ s cleverly designed as a hazard throughout . Feature holes include the 14th hole , a 175m par-3 with water that requires an accurate tee shot to a well-guarded green . Since its inauguration in 2011 , it has already become one of the best courses in the region . Only 1hr from Alicante Airport and 20 minutes from Murica Airport , the course is very accessible for overseas visitors .
