It has achieved international fame as it is the place where Sergio Garcia, one of the finest players in the World began his training. Amateurs visiting this course may even have the chance to coincide with one of Sergio Garcia’s training sessions, which is another attraction offered by this club. In the professional category it has been chosen for the Castello Masters, the OKI Castellon Open de Espana Senior Tour, the Ladies European Tour and four Tours, which serves as the ‘final course’ for Spanish golf. The course was substantially remodelled to host the Castello Masters Costa Azahar 2008, a European Tour event by Sergio Garcia.
