TorreMirona
Girona » TorreMirona
Set in the heart of the picturesque Empordá region and not far
from the magnificent Pyrenees mountains, which are often snow-
capped in the winter month lies Torremirona Golf & Spa Resort.
The resort includes a residential feel similar to large Spanish
resorts like La Manga: a sports club with swimming pool, tennis
courts, a fitness centre and a magnificent 18-hole golf course laid
out across a sweeping valley and on the sides of surrounding hills.
The golf course has plenty of water holes and is heavily bunkered;
overall it is gently undulating and suitable for all categories of
golfer. Torremirona was elected by the European Tour PGA for the
prequalifying school in October 2003 and this is a great venue for
golf tuition at its onsite driving range and golf school.

to Serres de Pals club and Emporda Golf club, Pals is an ideal
location in which to base any golf holiday. Platja de Pals Golf
course has a four star hotel located between the course itself
and the sea and apartments are also available.
Girona » D’Aro
Club de Golf d’Aro or Mas Nou Golf Club is built high above the
resort of ‘Platja d’Aro’ at the southern end of the Costa Brava in
a spectacular setting with panoramic views of the surrounding
coast and landscape. It is an undulating course with water
hazards and stategically placed bunkers making it challenging
but interesting, an opportunity to use every club in your bag.
It would be advisable to bring the camera as the views are
worth preserving. The Club Golf D’Aro - Mas Nou was designed
by architect Ramón Espinosa. It features a par 72, 18-hole
championship course and a 9-hole (Pitch & Putt) course, both of
them in the heart of nature and with spectacular views of the
Costa Brava, Les Gavarres, Montseny and the Valle de La Selv.
