Islantilla
Huelva » El Rompido ( North )
Surrounded by a beautiful natural area , Las Marismas del Rompido , El Rompido boasts magnificent sea views . Opened in June 2006 , the par72 18-hole north course is a monument to modern golf , intelligent and entertaining – as described in the Peugeot Guide to Europe ’ s Top 1000 Golf Courses . It is modern because it combines power with precision ; intelligent because it makes you think about your shots before hitting ; and entertaining because its medium-sized greens will entertain both the most skilled player and those with the highest handicaps . The course blends into the beauty of its natural surroundings but beware of the water features that come into play on holes 5 and 10 .

Huelva » El Rompido ( South )
Playing to a distance of 6168m from the back tees , the par-72 South course opened in October 2003 . Designed by Alvaro Arana , the course runs alongside the clubhouse and is divided into two courses with very different characteristics , both in terms of technique and the landscape . The pine forest alternates with olive trees and wetlands , requiring golfers to use strategy and precision in their strokes . The course , which can be played easily on foot , offers spacious greens known to be among the fastest in Andalusia . The combination of tropical grass and winter grass gives the fairways a comfortable , pleasant feel .
Huelva » Isla Canela
Located to the north west of Isla Canela , the club of the same name extends over a salt marsh crossed by small seawater streams . The layout has gentle slopes , formed by dunes , and a beautiful landscape dominated by broom brush , eucalyptus , olive and orange trees some of which require consideration when playing some fairways . Isla Canela is pleasant to walk with nothing more severe than a four metre climb . Natural lakes border a number of holes , and the greens are generally large and wellprotected by bunkers . The par five 7th is reachable in two but beware the river to the right of the green . The construction of strategically placed tees means Isla Canela is enjoyable for golfers of all abilities . The club also offers very good practice facilities .
