Estepona Golf
Andalucia » Estepona
Located two kilometres past Estepona this natural course was the brainchild of ex-publisher David Leader and was designed by José Luis López who adapted it to the undulating terrain . It is a welcome change with the perfect opportunity to enjoy the countryside , fresh air and abundant wildlife with minimal interference from building development and ‘ traffic jams ’. Although quite short the course is up and down . Those leaving their hiking legs behind may require a buggy . The long 3rd , the ‘ Ski Run ’ swoops downhill in a swathe of green forming several tiers and the unsighted drive should bear left slightly leaving a chance to reach the green with the second shot . At the 10th there are four lakes and three bunkers guarding the green to negotiate .
