Valencia ยป Foressos
Foressos is an excellent course, designed in 2007
by Jose Gancedo. This course has undoubtedly
some of the finest greens in the entire Region
of Valencia. Some greens are actually shared
between two holes and sometimes even three.
Interestingly, the green at hole number 7, a par3
of 170 metres is the longest in Europe, measuring over 70 metres.
To have a good score at Foressos, you have to come more than
once. Golf professionals such as Sergio Garcia and Jose Manuel
Lara use this course as their regular practice course. Water plays
an important role here, and has to be reckoned with at all times.
Foressos golf has a unique hole, number 19, a par 3 at 110 meters,
was a gift from Jose Gancedo to the course owners.
