SAN LORENZO GOLF
The San Lorenzo Golf Course was opened in 1988 , designed by American golf architects Joseph Lee and Rocky Roquemore who took full advantage of the wonderful topography on the Quinta do Lago estate , including beautiful Bermuda grass fairways , undulating pine woodland and the beautiful Ria Formosa Estuary . One of the most famous golf courses in the Algarve , access is available exclusively to guests of Dona Filipa Hotel , Formosa Park hotel , and of course , to those who are lucky enough to be private members .
The San Lorenzo Golf Course is laid out in a figure of eight and at the heart lies the San Lorenzo Clubhouse , with a golf pro shop , comfortable changing facilities and a welcoming bar and restaurant . The club also provide excellent practise facilities such as a driving range and short game facilities such as chipping greens , bunkers and putting greens .
