Trump International Scotland ( New Course )
The New Course at Trump Aberdeen is a sweet foil to its grandiose sibling . It is laid out across dunes , heathland and wetlands , and embraces hundreds of acres of rugged coastal terrain . Views of the North Sea are plentiful and by creating infinity greens the design team of Martin Hawtree , Christian Lundin and Christine Fraser has ensured those views arrive , time and again . The team has also incorporated ancient burns into their design and water appears across the course to add to the attraction and the challenge . On the short 295y par-4 4th , for example , you have to play over water at some point , no matter which of the six tees you play from . Off the back tees ( 670 yards ), the par-5 15th features huge dunes along the left and water down the right , with a burn running through the hole , into a lake .
The club believes the course will have the world ’ s largest natural bunker and with its combination of differing terrains it promises to be something special . The landscape even changes one final time as you play the 18th , heading uphill to an infinity green , with incredible views of the Championship course and clubhouse beyond . Opening summer 2025 .
