The region offers six golf courses.
GOLF COURSES Located near the historic town of Óbidos, Royal Óbidos Spa & Golf Resort offers a championship Seve Ballesteros design set across 336 acres overlooking the Óbidos Lagoon. Measuring over 7,100 yards, the course provides a challenging yet enjoyable test, with standout holes including the water-lined par-5 2nd and par-3 3rd.
Campo Real is a luxury countryside resort, just north of Lisbon, features an 18-hole Donald Steel design set among rolling hills and wooded valleys. Known for its elevated tees, undulating greens, and tournament pedigree, Campo Real offers a rewarding challenge for golfers of all abilities.
Praia D’ El Rey
Bom Sucesso is a Donald Steel-designed championship course on the Silver Coast offers gently rolling front nine holes and a more dramatic, elevated back nine. With consistently excellent conditioning, undulating greens, and panoramic views, Bom Sucesso provides both challenge and visual appeal.
Designed by Cynthia Dye, West Cliffs is a spectacular ocean-side course set among towering dunes and coastal vegetation near Óbidos. Carefully integrated into the natural landscape, the course offers breathtaking Atlantic views and a unique links-style experience that ranks among Europe’ s most striking golf destinations.
Campo Real
Montebelo Golf delivers a dramatic 27-hole layout set in forested, hilly terrain. Narrow fairways, elevation changes, and demanding greens define the experience. Signature holes include the downhill par-4 16th over water and the scenic par-3 17th across a wooded valley.
Widely regarded as one of Portugal’ s most scenic courses, Praia D’ El Rey stretches across coastal dunes and pine forests with sweeping Atlantic Ocean views. Signature holes such as the par-3 14th and oceanfront 13th and 15th create a truly memorable golfing experience, complemented by stunning clubhouse vistas.
