Quinta da Ria

Quinta da Cima

A championship course of lazy rhythm and hypnotic flow, Quinta de Cima Golf is embraced by centenary olive and carob trees, as well as orange groves and vineyards. It all combines to maintain the region’ s original landscape and it is a charming course to play. It is also testing with the subtle movement and shape, and big undulating greens. Similar to its sibling, Quinta da Ria, the course was designed by Rocky Roquemore

Quinta da Ria

Quinta da Ria Golf situated in the Ria Formosa Nature Reserve is often described by visiting golfers as one of the most beautiful courses in the region. The Rocky Roquemore design is perched above the Ria Formosa estuary with views over the sand and tidal waters of the Nature Reserve below. The carob and olive trees define fairways and establish the course’ s rhythm while five lakes make timely appearances. The back nine are particularly impressive as they take you close to the beach, providing stunning views of the Atlantic Ocean.

Quinta do Vale

The back nine are particularly impressive as they take you close to the beach, providing stunning views of the Atlantic Ocean.
Designed by Seve Ballesteros, Quinta do Vale features an 18-hole championship layout of six par-5s, six par-4s and six par-3s. That alone promises quite the adventure. The course has Bermuda grass fairways, Bent grass greens and the rough has an abundance of Festuca & Ryegrass. Marvellously integrated into the landscape and with dramatic views over the Guadiana River, Quinta do Vale sits in a calm, natural valley and is always overlooked from the clubhouse. Seve’ s creativity is to the fore and his goal of pleasing all golfers, no matter their handicap, is well realised.
