THE WINNER TAKES IT ALL
TopGolfer players will battle it out at Mount Juliet this
October, with the title of Ireland’s TopGolfer Champion
2015 up for grabs.
at established host venues such as Cork GC, Castle GC,
Woodenbridge GC, Galway GC, Dromoland Castle, Grange GC
and Rosslare GC. This season the TopGolfer Tour will also visit
new venues at Wexford, Carlow, Waterford, Portmarnock Links,
St. Annes.
When it comes to hosting a National Finals, the TopGolfer
Tour know exactly what top amateur golfers desire: a highly
competitive event across 2-days on one of Irelands premier
Championship courses. And the stakes are high. Previous Tour
Championship venues include Carton House (2010), Druids Glen
(2011), Fota Island (2012), The Heritage (2013), Portmarnock Links
(2014) – but the recent confirmation of Mount Juliet Golf Club
as the venue for 2015 has certainly grabbed golfers attention.
The winner of each Tour event will automatically leap onto the
TopGolfer Order of Merit table, leading to a national PlayOffs of
60 players at Mount Wolseley Golf Club, where competitors will
all be competing across an 18-hole shootout to qualify for the
2-day TopGolfer Tour Championship Finals in October 2015. All
players will be looking to join the only man in Ireland to guarantee
his place at the TopGolfer 2015 Tour Championships, Gareth Keogh
from Mountrath GC, Irelands TopGolfer Tour Champion from 2014
who is automatically invited back to defend his crown.
The Co. Kilkenny venue is no stranger to hosting premier golf
events, and the 2-day Tour Championships is sure to be fitting
venue to host a National Finals after 3000+ golfers compete on
the 7-month Tour of 36 Tour events.
The TopGolfer Tour was launched in 2010 to provide golfers who
play off 9 or better with a series of competitive events and secured
the vital support of big brands such as Oakley, ECCO, Motocaddy
and Golf Buddy into their impressive family of Tour Partners.
Voted at Ireland’s #1 Parkland course, the 7300-yard Jack Nicklaus
Signature Course boasts rolling fairways, many feature water
hazards and contoured greens, all superbly blended into the
spectacular setting of this famous old Irish Estate.
A perfect tournament venue, Mount Juliet has hosted many
prestigious events such as the WGC - American Express Golf
Championship in 2002 and again in 2004, the Irish Open of 199395 along with the Shell Wonderful World of Golf match between
Tom Watson and Fred Couples in 1998.
The TopGolfer Tour, Ireland’s only amateur golf tour has released
