Portsalon Golf Club was founded in 1891 and was a founder member of the GUI. One of the best, oldest and most beautiful links courses in Ireland, the course is located on the breathtaking Fanad Peninsula in County Donegal. In 2000, a major redesign of the links was undertaken by renowned architect, Pat Ruddy. The course was lengthened and nine completely new holes were added.

North West Golf Club
The North West Golf Club is a truly spectacular golf links set on the Inishowen Peninsula of Co. Donegal. The links can trace its history back to 1891, when, along with eight other clubs, it became a founding member of the Golfing Union of Ireland( G. U. I). With a layout measuring almost 6400 yards, the course presents a very modern challenge to every golfer. A memorable experience is guaranteed for all visitors on this jewel of a links, where fast running fairways and slick fescue greens will test every club in the bag. The views are stunning and this is part of Ireland’ s acclaimed Wild Atlantic Way. A visit in 2017 is a must for any lover of links golf.
