Gloria Offers Even More With All In
One
Guests at Gloria Hotels & Resorts can
now add extra layers of enjoyment and
even more variety to their stay at the
fabulous five-star resort as part of their
new concept: All In One. Situated in
Belek, where the Mediterranean and the Taurus meet in a
total area of 212 hectares, the resort features three hotels -
Gloria Golf Resort, Gloria Verde Resort and Gloria Serenity

Two islands will do battle
as part of the forthcoming
Seve Ballesteros Memorial
Tournament at Buenavista
Golf in Tenerife. The spectacular course in the north-west
of Tenerife - designed by the great man himself - already
offers a fabulous golf experience at a unique coastal . But
just as Ballesteros thrived in the intense competition of team
golf during his glory days as the key figure in the European
Ryder Cup team, a selection of professionals will get a similar
experience on Sunday June 11 as a Canary Islands team takes
on the UK. The full event will attract 100 professionals from
across Europe as part of the four-day gathering (June 8-11)
with amateurs also playing in three competition formats.
La Romana Golf Club’s
official opening is in sight
This new golf course,
located in the south east of
Dominican Republic, already
opened with 9 holes of the
professional golf course back
in February and in July of this year will finish the 18 holes.
La Romana Golf is a unique Golf Course in its class, designed
and built masterfully by the company Maverick Golf.
This course is the second PGA golf course developed by the
Piñero group, bringing together the most striking elements of
the area and achieving a work that no player can resist.

Longa Resort Celebrated
25th Anniversary
In May, last month, the
Atlantic golf course at
Penha Longa Resort,
designed by renowned designer Robert Trent Jones Jr.,
celebrated its 25th anniversary. Managed by the Ritz-
Carlton Hotel Company, this is the only course under the
luxury brand in Europe. Home to the Portuguese Open
four times, these 18 holes, par 72 championship course of
6.313m, are well integrated in the landscape. The course
offers a challenge to all golfers, as well as breathtaking
views of the ocean with Estoril and Cascais in the
foreground, but also the stunning Sintra hills.

an unprecedented sixth successive
year by readers of Ultratravel, the
Telegraph’s luxury travel magazine,
and visitors to the telegraph.co.uk website. Readers were
asked to vote for their favourite travel experiences in 19
categories, with Gleneagles taking the top golf award ahead
of Pebble Beach Resorts and Bandon Dunes Golf Resort, USA;
St. Andrews Links, Scotland and La Manga Resort in Spain.
Los Naranjos GC celebrates
its 40th anniversary this year
since its foundation.
Since its foundation, Los
Naranjos GC has maintained
a spirit of continuous
improvement and the
willingness to please all its visitors. Throughout these 40
years, the club has been renovating all the facilities and
improving the golf course, but without losing the essence
of the original design of Robert Trent Jones, who has been
a worldwide reference in the construction and design of
the best golf courses. Due to the increasing popularity of
Marbella as a golf destination, with its more than 300 days
of sunshine throughout the year and combined with the
spectacular golf course conditions of Los Naranjos, the
number of sold green fees has been increasing year on year.
Within the 40th celebrations, 3 additional tournaments will
be hosted along with themed events to promote the social
life of the club, new shares of Los Naranjos GC will be put up
for sale and entry of new members to the club.
