that each one is granted club membership for the day.
Unlike some of Scotland’ s other leading courses, Prestwick is a private members’ club, but visitors may book to play the course on most days of the week. Guests are encouraged to take full advantage of the services on offer including gathering in the Smoke Room( the main Lounge) and having lunch at the long table in the Dining Room. Visitors are often surprised and delighted to be given access to these areas in order to enjoy and absorb the club’ s hospitality and history alongside its regular members. All that is asked is that golfers respect the club’ s rules of wearing a jacket, collar and tie or in the case of ladies, a change from golf attire.
This experience can be included in your visit through The Prestwick Experience; a specially priced ticket that includes a round of golf and a three-course lunch( excluding drinks) in the Dining
Room. Numbers are strictly limited to 32 each day with four-ball times between 8.00 and 9.00am on Wednesdays and Fridays reserved exclusively for golfers wishing to participate in The Prestwick Experience.
With its unrivalled history, charismatic course and warm welcome, there are few places like it in the world of golf. On your next visit to Ayrshire, we can’ t recommend a game at Prestwick golf course enough, trust us, it won’ t let you down.
