Tsutsujigaoka Country Club

Located in the Ashikaga area of Tochigi Prefecture, just over an hour north of Tokyo by car or train, this charming 18-hole course was designed by the late Katsumi Takizawa and is widely regarded as his finest work. Each hole weaves its way through the valleys of a national park, creating a striking natural backdrop.
The modern risk-and-reward design offers maximum enjoyment, combining elevated tees, driveable par 4s, strategically placed bunkers and water features that lead into large single greens. Playable yearround, the course showcases vivid greens and colorful flowers in spring and summer, transitioning to rich golden browns and reds in autumn and winter.
The award-winning clubhouse is renowned for its restaurant, which serves freshly made soba dishes and overlooks a breathtaking waterfall just outside, delivering a fun yet luxurious golf experience.
