The Links Portmarnock opened in 1995, set in the grounds of
the old Jameson Estate of St. Marnocks. Designed by Bernhard
Langer and architect Stan Eby, they created a course that is

2009 Ladies Irish Open.

has included extensive course upgrades, including the creation of
a short game area, riveting of traditional links pot bunkers and the
introduction of grass pathways. All enhancements make full use of
the dunes and natural terrain.
