Ballyneety
This is a modern parkland( 1994) stretching languidly over 183 acres of rolling Co. Limerick countryside. There is swell and movement everywhere, and lots of space in which to enjoy it. This feels languid and embracing, and water features abound, arriving at frequent intervals. It is all so aesthetically pleasing to the eye and the course has a central hill that takes centre stage and dominates holes in the middle of the round.
Ballyneety has always been an adventurous course, the routing swinging you between the trees, across and over hillsides and ridges, and around those ponds. There are exciting shots to greens above and below you, drives that tower, approach shots that require cunning, and putts that will fool you. Everything you want in a game of golf is here, and the course has returned to its best over the past few years.
A wonderful variety of holes – in shape and length – and you will be well tested.
