There are plateau greens , hidden greens and sweet bunkering … it ’ s a heady mix that challenges all the way around and entertains all day long . You can swing freely here , despite the deep rough , so watch your ball race over the bumpy , curvaceous fairways … and watch carefully . These fairways have a life of their ownThe stretch of holes from 7 to 10 sets the course alight , with the 8th hole an absolute doubleblind terror . Castlerock may be short for a par 73 but it is serious quality . The 9-hole Bann course is also highly regarded .
