NAU SALGADOS GOLF COURSE Designed by Pedro Vasconcelos and opened for play in 1994, this 18-hole par-72 course enjoys an incredible setting next to Salgados Beach, just 10 minutes from the centre of Albufeira. If the weather gets hot, golfers will enjoy the sea breeze as it is located close to the ocean and beside a nature reserve that is home to many exotic birds. Here, almost all the holes are flanked by lagoons and one (number 6) is considered one of the most difficult of the world, as it has a lot of water and is very long. The course is generally flat, so very walkable, with a lot of well-designed lakes, water hazards, and palm trees. For this reason, it is a technical course. After your game, you can enjoy the clubhouse facilities which includes an indoor/ outdoor bar, a lovely 19th hole.
