The Robert Trent Jones Jr. designed 27-hole golf course flows across coastal dunes, parkland and hillside terrain, offering three distinct nine-hole loops. The combination of links-style seaside holes and inland layouts creates a memorable and varied golf experience.

The clubhouse at Palmares Ocean Living & Golf Clubhouse is widely regarded as one of the finest modern golf clubhouses in Europe, combining striking contemporary architecture with panoramic views across the Bay of Alvor and the Atlantic Ocean. Designed by acclaimed Brazilian architects Studio RAR, the building was created to blend seamlessly into the surrounding landscape, with natural materials, open terraces and floor-to-ceiling glass maximising the connection to the coastline and golf course.
Positioned above the 18th green, the clubhouse serves as the social heart of the resort, offering a relaxed yet refined atmosphere for golfers and visitors alike. The clubhouse is home to the resort’ s highly regarded Michelin-starred restaurant and bar, where guests can enjoy locally inspired Portuguese cuisine, fresh seafood and fine wines while overlooking the course.
Palmares’ clubhouse has received international recognition for both its design and guest experience, including being named Europe’ s Best Golf Clubhouse at the 2025 World Golf Awards.
