can now enjoy a superb golf courses like, St Cugat,
Vilalba, Vallromanes, Saint Vincenc de Montalt,
Caldes and Llavaneres. Sitges Terramar is a beautiful
course on the shores of the Mediterranean. Golfers
can also play courses like Club de Golf de Barcelona,
designed by Jose Maria Olazabal and founded in
1990, this is a very demanding tight course and
has numerous professional tournaments including
2007 Catalonia Ladies Masters, part of the Ladies
European Tour. However, the most well-known
course in Barcelona has to be Real Club de Golf el
Prat which hosted its tenth Open de España last year,
2015, as part of the European Tour. It’s 45 holes and
designed by Greg Norman are set in beautiful rolling
countryside on the outskirts of
Barcelo
Catalonia has hosted the Open de Espana three times
in the past five years, showing the high regard the
region’s courses are held in PGA Catalunya. With over
35 golf courses, Catalonia is quite simply a golfers
paradise.
