An award-winning development that opened in 2008 , Banyan is located in the royal resort of Hua Hin , which is 200km south of Bangkok in an area of beautiful white sandy beaches . An 18-hole , Par 72 championship golf course of 7,361 yards , it was designed by high respected course architect Pirapon Namatra . The golf course was designed with links golf characteristics and fairways which twist and turn using the natural topography of the land whilst keeping and preserving the landscape and environment in mind . Nikanti Golf Club
Just 35 kilometers west of Bangkok , Nikanti is perhaps Asia ’ s first 18-hole , par-72 course comprising three six-hole layouts , each individual layout consisting of two par threes , two par fours and two par fives . Designed by Pirapon Namatra the course allows for starts at three different points on the course in addition to flexibility in number of holes played . Measuring 6,789 yards from the back tees , Nikanti is certainly challenging even for scratch golfers .
