STAYING SAFE IN THE WORLD
IN THE AIR
Research airlines for their safety measures , such as keeping all middle seats empty . These are a few things to keep in mind when en route to your destination :
• Wear a cloth face covering at all times , including during TSA screening ( unless a TSA officer asks you to remove it for identification purposes ).
• Pack a 12-ounce container of hand sanitizer containing at least 60 % alcohol in your carryon bag . Anything larger must be checked .
• Wash your hands with soap and water for at least 20 seconds before and after TSA screening .
• Avoid touching your eyes , nose and mouth as well as public surfaces like handrails and elevator buttons .
• Maintain a distance of six feet from others at all times .
UPON ARRIVAL
20 DESTINATION BLISS
The American Hotel & Lodging Association ( AHLA ) released a “ Stay Safe Guest Checklist ” for all hotel guests and employees to adhere to . These measures include :
• Wear face coverings in all indoor public spaces and common areas .
• Select contactless options when available , like online check-ins and payments .
• Request daily room cleaning only if absolutely necessary . Having fewer people enter your room will reduce your risk of catching COVID-19 .
• Request room service delivery service outside of your room instead of making contact .
• Do not travel if ill or if you have recently been in contact with anyone diagnosed with COVID-19 .
