here do you go when you want to combine
lounging on the beach with thrill-seeking
activities and culinary exploration? For
this Fargo, North Dakota couple, seeing their travel
advisor’s photos from her trip to Punta Cana sealed
their honeymoon decision. They’d also heard from
friends about the fantastic deals on all-inclusive
resorts in the Dominican Republic.
Their instincts were right; Sara and Jason had a
blast. The adventurous duo went parasailing for
the first time, took catamaran cruises, dined at
many restaurants and enjoyed an hour-long sunset
session with a professional photographer. “The
beauty of the resort itself was breathtaking. It was
very lush and tropical and we loved seeing the birds
and iguanas in their natural habitat,” Sara said.
In true romantic mode though, taking walks on the
“sugar sand” beach was their favorite part.
PLANNING ADVICE
We chose to do a HoneyFund in place of a gift
registry, and our friends and family generously
donated for our honeymoon. It was a wonderful
option, as it allowed us to take the trip of our
dreams!
