Resort Wedding Venues
Not only will your resort have multiple locations to choose from for your rehearsal dinner , they ’ ll also have numerous places for the actual ceremony . Here ’ s a quick overview of some of your options :
Beach
This is the first thing that comes to mind when you hear “ destination wedding ,” and for good reason . It ’ s gorgeous , right ? You traveled all the way here , of course you ’ d want your ceremony to showcase the best part .
Ballroom
Whether you ’ re worried about the weather or just a fan of air-conditioned spaces , your resort likely has a beautiful ballroom , perfect for hosting you and your guests .
Gazebo
The gazebo is the “ Goldilocks ” option between the first two . You want the view , but not the sand in your shoes . You like the breeze , but want a roof in case of a tropical rainshower .

Chapel
Depending on your resort , you might have the option for a chapel , chock full of the traditional features ( wooden pews , elevated altar ) plus a few extras specific to the locale ( framed by rainforest greenery or sporting 360-degree ocean views ).
Garden
No doubt your resort has immaculately manicured grounds — where better to let your love bloom than a quiet slice of paradise ?
Golf Course
Depending on your resort , there may be an adjoining golf course ; think of this as the sweet spot between “ Garden ” and “ Beach :” lush green grass , commanding views of the ocean .
Offshore Island
It ’ s not always possible , but when it is … this is the ultimate fairytale setting . There is nothing more romantic than saying “ I do ” seemingly a world away from the everyday . ◆
