Size vs Space:
The size of the umbrella always refers to the diameter of the umbrella.
If you are considering a 9’ umbrella it is 4.5’ from any one end to the
middle pole or 9’ across the entire umbrella.
When it comes to umbrellas and umbrella sizing there are some basic
things to consider:
1.Where is the umbrella going to be? Inside a table or freestanding
2.Will it be going in a table and how big is the table?
3.How many people will be sitting around the table
Here is a quick guide you can use when picking the size of your
umbrella:
7’ umbrella -Bistro tables, 2 Seater dining tables (round or square) or
freestanding on small balconies/spaces
9’ umbrella -Dining Tables that accommodate 4 to 6 people (round or
rectangular) or freestanding
10’ umbrella -Dining Tables that accommodate 8 to 12 people (round
or rectangular) or freestanding in a large space
