We ’ ll work with you to ensure the brochure includes all the information you would like . You can send us your existing brochure ( s ) or we can develop the brochure with information from your website . Your brochure will feature your branding , including colors , font and logo . OUR BIRTH CENTER
Birth Centers have been around for decades , and are now being integrated into mainstream health care in the United States . Based on the midwifery model of care , birth centers focus on normal birth and women ’ s health throughout their lifetime . We approach birth as a natural process that does not always require medical interventions such as IVs , continuous monitoring or restriction of movement to a bed .
We are the only center in Baton Rouge offering only natural birth and have excellent clinical outcomes as well as superior client satisfaction . Our orientation experience will provide all of the information potential clients are seeking regarding evidence based care and details of our natural Birth Center services .
Congratulations and welcome ! Our goal is to help you feel cared for as you bring your baby into the world at the only accredited free standing Birth Center in the area .
Each spacious room is furnished with a regular bed , large tub for labor and birth , and large attached bathroom with a double shower . There is plenty of space . Waiting areas are available outside of the birth rooms for when moms want more privacy .
Services Offered :
• Full spectrum of prenatal care including 30-60 minute appointments , lab work , and in-house ultrasound
• Chiropractic care
• Labor support ( doulas always welcome !)
• Freedom to eat , drink , and move freely throughout labor and birth
• Inclusion of partners and families
• Labor and birth in water
• Comfort measures including : Cub birthing stool , birthing balls , Native American birth sling , hydrotherapy , Rebozos , etc .
• Going home 4-6 hours after birth , depending on the circumstances
• A peaceful transition for babies , including immediate skin-to-skin contact and initiation of breastfeeding
• Breastfeeding support
• Vaginal Birth After Cesarean , if it is your second or subsequent VBAC
• Home visit at 24-48 hours postpartum
