When our client approached Zulufish, the brief was clear: a sophisticated London townhouse that could move effortlessly between professional entertaining and everyday family life.
As the CEO of a multi-industry investment firm who divides his time internationally, he needed a home that could host business guests with ease, while remaining warm and practical for his wife and two young daughters. Having spent much of his life between Nigeria and London, he was drawn to a design that felt elegant and timeless, grounded in the clean architectural lines of a contemporary townhouse.
Appointed from concept to completion, we delivered the full range of services in-house: architectural design, interior design, build and bespoke joinery. The result is a complete transformation across every floor, anchored by a sleek, sophisticated monochromatic scheme.
REIMAGINING THE SPACE
The basement was extended both outwards and downwards, turning a once-limited lower ground floor into a surprisingly light and airy space that significantly increased the home ' s footprint. At ground floor level, we reconfigured the layout to improve flow and create a stronger sense of arrival, with a spacious entrance lobby, a dedicated study positioned just off the hallway, and a full-width reception room opening onto a terrace overlooking the garden.
The first floor became the family ' s primary living level, home to a generous family room and an expansive principal suite. Above, the second floor houses three further bedrooms and two bathrooms, providing comfortable accommodation for family and guests alike.
