CATTS FARM LAUNCHES: EIGHT EXCEPTIONAL COUNTRY HOMES WITHIN EASY REACH OF LONDON

Catts Farm, an exclusive development of just eight individually designed detached homes, has
launched in the Hampshire countryside between Newbury and Basingstoke.
Created by Cantata Properties in partnership with construction specialist GWL Ltd, the development offers an attractive alternative for buyers seeking more space, a high-quality new home and a rural lifestyle without losing convenient access to London.
Adjoining open countryside and tranquil woodland, Catts Farm has been sensitively designed to reflect the architectural character of its surroundings. Traditional materials and carefully considered elevations are complemented by spacious contemporary interiors, generous gardens and a premium specification.
The detached homes range from 2,169 sq ft to 3,366 sq ft, including their car barns, and are priced from £ 850,000 to £ 1.35 million. The first homes are expected to complete from August 2026.
Ben Babington, head of new homes sales at Trilogy Land & New Homes, the appointed selling agent, said:
“ Catts Farm offers something increasingly difficult to find: a beautifully designed new home in a genuinely rural setting, with the space and quality buyers want, yet still within a straightforward commute of London.”
“ This is not a large, uniform housing scheme. With only eight detached homes, each property has its own identity and has been thoughtfully planned to make the most of its individual position, outlook and garden. The result is a development that feels established, characterful and entirely appropriate for its countryside setting.”
Positioned between Newbury and Basingstoke, Catts Farm gives London-bound commuters a choice of routes. Direct rail services from Newbury reach London Paddington in around 40 minutes, while journeys from Basingstoke to London Waterloo take as little as 43 minutes. The M4 and M3 are also readily accessible, providing connections towards London, Heathrow, Gatwick and the wider motorway network.
Closer to home, residents can enjoy the amenities of Kingsclere, approximately four minutes away by car. The historic village offers independent shops, cafés, traditional pubs and everyday essentials, while the larger centres of Newbury and Basingstoke provide extensive shopping, dining, cultural and leisure facilities.
Families are particularly well served by a choice of respected state and independent schools. Cheam
