Ground Floor Gable End Windows with Hinged Doors and Integrated Balustrades
At ground floor level, the gable end windows in Sutton Colfield were resolved using outward opening hinged doors with full height sidelights. This configuration provides a strong visual connection between interior living spaces and the garden while offering flexibility for day to day use. Frameless glass balustrades were integrated at both Wpositions and external edges, fixed within concealed channels. This detailing allows the balustrades to sit quietly within the architecture, maintaining uninterrupted sightlines across the glazed elevation.
