CUPACLAD ® 101 LOGIC PROVIDES AN ECO-FRIENDLY SOLUTION FOR THREE PROPERTIES IN HERTFORDSHIRE

CUPACLAD ® 101 Logic has been specified for the upper façade of three newly built houses located within the Metropolitan Green Belt of the Broxbourne District in Hertfordshire.
Installed by Roof Brothers, and carefully chosen to blend seamlessly with the surrounding landscape, the slate provides a timeless finish, whilst remaining compliant with the client’ s sustainability requirements.
Squared Architects designed three properties at Rosebury Farm in total: the first to become the client’ s own home, along with two others on the neighbouring land for the client to eventually sell. Whilst sharing the same architectural style and material palette, the properties were designed to have some visible distinctions. Each building offers visual interest, with stepped facades helping to mitigate and soften their overall structures.
“ From the outset, we wanted the project to be characterised by modern, minimal geometries, while employing traditional materials, rather than synthetic façade cladding,” commented Simone Demurtas, Director of Squared Architects.“ As such, we specified natural slate to ensure the building’ s design reflected the local heritage and fostered a harmonious connection with the landscape. This was our first project using CUPACLAD ®, and we found it to be significantly better than the other options available, as it offers a beautiful, almost metallic finish that creates a stunning effect in the daylight.”
