These collars allow flat switches to be surface-mounted without altering the existing wall structure. Supplied primed and ready to paint, they can be finished to match the surrounding wall, helping them visually disappear once installed. The result preserves the elegance of a flat plate switch while avoiding unnecessary structural work.
For older homes,( particularly those with uneven plaster or lath-and-plaster walls) this approach delivers a clean, understated finish that respects the building’ s character while meeting modern requirements.
