DESIGNING THROUGH SCENARIOS
Scenario ' s distinctive methodology— designing from the inside out, based on the daily habits of its inhabitants— was applied rigorously, even introspectively. For Ran, this meant scrutinising how his own family lived and designing accordingly.

KEY EXAMPLES INCLUDE:
• The " Holy Line "— a sightline that runs uninterrupted from the front door to the back garden, inviting movement and light through the house.
• A snug window seat by the fireplace, enlarged to become a social hub connecting cooking, dining, and living spaces.
• A private outdoor bath, recessed into a balcony off the master bedroom— a pared-back alternative to luxury spa features, designed for genuine everyday use.
• A practical dog wash and side entrance, ensuring muddy shoes and paws never enter the main hallway.
• A hidden pantry kitchen, keeping counters clear while providing functional, deli-style storage
SUSTAINABILITY IN PRACTICE
Sustainability was not an afterthought but embedded from the outset. Passive design principles, SIP panels, and close collaboration with sustainability experts informed the build. The solarpanelled roof generates electricity, an air-source heat pump provides efficient heating, and high insulation levels ensure long-term performance.

OUTCOME
The project tested every principal Scenario stands for— and at times broke Ran ' s own rules. But the result is a family home that feels natural, intuitive, and entirely bespoke to its inhabitants.
