THE BRIEF
The property ’ s location was key to unlocking the building ’ s picture-perfect power . It stands on Guernsey ’ s prominent coastline with stunning panoramic sea views . From the front lies a discreet entrance made from textured reclaimed Guernsey granite to suit the landscape , the house opens into a 20ft hallway with contemporary architecture positioned within generous gardens with uninterrupted sea views . All living and bedroom spaces benefit from windows showing glimpses of the beautiful countryside and seascape , with beautiful light throughout the day , come rain or shine . This stunning , modern property boasts a large footprint of 5000 sq ft but the imposing spaces felt cold , unwelcoming and the placement of furnishings felt unbalanced . The owner , having worked for decades in London and New York , longed to settle by the sea in a space that would feel like home .
ACHIEVING THE BRIEF
