This self-adhesive , butyl-based tape effectively shields the tops of joists , rim joists , ledger boards and beams from moisture penetration that can cause wood to decay and deteriorate . It also seals deck fasteners and helps deck screws to hold longer and stronger by preventing moisture from seeping into screw holes . Charmaine Chaudry is a Liverpool based artist , with a focus on landscape oil paintings . Charmaine is fascinated with themes of identity and home , creating idealised dream-like scenes , evidenced by her vibrant colour palettes and impressionist brushstrokes . Finding where you feel at home is something she searches for in her work . Charmaine wants her audience to find a relatability and comfort in her paintings . Her new body of work ‘ Life Beyond the Window ’ explores this further , looking at themes relating to family , identity and belonging , through the lens of looking in at life from the outside or beyond refractions of light .
