SPATEX 2022 – THE MECCA FOR WATER LEISURE

Excitement is building for the return of the UK ’ s only dedicated water leisure exhibition , SPATEX 2022 , to a live event in February . Bursting with inspiration and information , and showcasing the very latest products , trends and innovations , it offers the potential to meet over a thousand people from the water leisure industry in one day .
Held at the Coventry Building Society Arena from Tuesday 1st to Thursday 3rd February , it is free to attend , and provides designers , architects , specifiers , builders , developers with ALL you need to know about water features , spas , hot tubs , saunas , steam rooms , swimming pools , enclosures , tiling as well as the more functional elements like chemicals and heating and ventilation .

They will provide vital information such as new standards and guidance that affect all disciplines involved in the development of water leisure projects .
Promising to be of particular interest to designers and builders is the talk by Devin Consulting ( experts in the design and engineering of water features ) on Wednesday February 2nd in Arena 2 discussing the role they played in the construction of the world-famous London Sky Pool , completed in June . Spanning 17m across the rooftops of two high rise apartment buildings 35m in the air , this amazing all-acrylic , clear see-through structure is part of the Embassy Gardens development in Nine Elms , London for Ballymore EcoWorld , opposite the new American Embassy building .

With over a hundred companies already signed up , including all the world ’ s major suppliers and manufacturers , every conceivable aspect of wet leisure , for both the domestic and commercial sectors is covered . Saving energy is high on the exhibition ’ s agenda and you can expect to see lots of new products supporting a low energy , low carbon footprint . Following the pandemic , many of the exhibitors are making up for lost time and plan to feature two years ’ worth of launches alongside those making their 2022 debut .
