Interiors & Interior Design Following this initial work, new acoustic flooring was laid throughout the property and external walls were demolished to expose the original brick and give the apartments a modern, industrial style. A watertight timber-frame extension was built with the addition of bespoke profile timber sliding sash windows and the creation of new dormer windows. Priestley Construction was also tasked with preserving certain parts of the original building. By seamlessly moulding the custom-built cornice on the extension to match the existing structure’s features they were able to preserve elements of its style. With the upper floors in place, structural steelwork was put in place to provide additional stability and this also allowed for contemporary, open spiral staircases to be built. Priestley Construction also created spacious terraces for all three apartments, fitted with AstroTurf to give residents their own manageable green space in the city. Each unique apartment has been finished to the highest standard, and every aspect has been carefully considered to give a sophisticated end result to each home. Farrow & Ball paint was used in neutral colours throughout each home. All apartments were fitted with stunning Villeroy & Boch bathrooms, providing a personal oasis for those who live there. Main bedrooms are fitted with high- specification wardrobes and spacious dressing rooms, as well as their own en-suite wet rooms. 55
