Davonport's Shoreditch kitchen is a
luxury take on eclectic, industrial-style
kitchen design. The Shoreditch’s raw
urban features are a marked departure
from the company’s traditional English
furniture, and the design proportions
mean it is particularly suited to
townhouses, loft apartments and
smaller rooms – although the versatile
design can be adapted to all homes.
The cabinetry is available with or
without a bead detail on the frame, and
other elements include a slab door;
the use of wired glass; aged metal
hardware; and a mix of timber and
stone worktops. The open, utilitarian-
style shelving makes a bold statement,
as does the exposed brickwork and
strong colour contrasts across the
different components of the design.
The Shoreditch also features a Crittall
Windows ‘Innervision’ sliding door
and wall. With its geometric lines, the
lightweight, minimalist-profile frame,
is heavy on urban appeal and allows
natural light to permeate from the
main kitchen through to the pantry –
an area of the home that often lacks in
brightness.
