wood and then evolving into new

Alter's creative core is a very special
wood: an exquisite salvaged oak,
reworked and embellished with
coloured resin insertsthat generate a
creative short-circuit of rare power,
partly natural and partly conceived by
man, echoes of the past and portents of
the future.
Alter's aesthetic strikes clever balances
between tactile consistencies that
give it an unusual versatility, the
basis for interior designs with varying
inspirations.
The antique beauty of oak wood
receives an unusual interpretation:
bright and shining, to give light to
both simple interiors and designs that
elaborate on the contemporary love of
crossovers between periods, styles and
inspirations.
There are four colours: Sbiancato,
Miele, Noce and Bruciato.
These shades are offered in the 20x120
cm (7 7/8”x47 1/4”) size, enabling Alter
to express all its modular potential and
meet the needs of rooms with the most
widely varying structures, and a 6.5x60
cm (2 9/16”x23 5/8”) size to extend
the floor and wall covering layouts
available.
Further architectural prospects are
provided by the 60x60 cm (23 5/8” x23
5/8”) size, styled to resemble cross-cut
wood dipped in resin: an image of great
strength, merging the power of oak
with the brightness of resin finishing.
The Alter resin colours have been
selected for perfect matching with
the stone-inspired hues of the Ego
collection, also new from Provenza,
making the two concepts naturally
compatible and further extending
the design potential of these
