Robust UK continue to lead the field
in security solutions, adding two new
products to their growing portfolio of
Secured By Design approved doors.
Their TUFF-VENT product recently
achieved PAS 24: 2016 certification,
while GLAS-DOR has successfully
passed testing to the same standard,
with certification in progress.
With thieves becoming increasingly
sophisticated when attempting to gain
access to buildings, it is vital door
manufacturers stay one step ahead.
Third-party certification couldn’t be
more important in doing so, assuring
consumers that their doors meet
security requirements and keep their
property and possessions secure for as
long as possible.
PAS 24: 2016 is a security certification
that guarantees that the production
of a door is monitored by a UKAS
accredited certification body.
This ensures that it complies with
the requirements of PAS 24: 2016;
Enhanced security performance
requirements for door sets and
windows in the UK. This is a British
minimum standard, meaning there are
no upper or lower grades, a door will
either pass or fail.

Often used on affordable housing,
TUFF-VENT is perfect for use on bin
stores and boiler rooms. It offers a
free area of around 50%, allowing
continuous airflow and enhanced
security. A standard 2mm steel louvre
vane is used throughout, welded at
every junction to improve strength and
durability.
TUFF-VENT is also available as a side or
over panel to make up large openings
where a large door may be impractical.
GLAS-DOR is Robust UK’s glazed steel
profile system, perfect for use in offices,

hospitals and shopping centres (among
other similar public buildings). It can
offer up to 2 hours fire resistance in
certain configurations, and is available
as a glazed door set, sliding doors,
partition walls and window sections.
GLAS-DOR combines functionality with
a sleek, modern design, and adding
security certification to this really will
