of Walsingham House alive Garador’s New GRP Collection

Due to popular demand, Garador have
introduced Slate Grey (RAL 7015) to its
standard range of colours for steel up &
over doors, side hinged doors and personnel
doors. There are now 19 colours on steel
doors. Steel Window Association member, Crittall
Windows, has renovated Walsingham House
which is located in a key conservation area in
London. Garador’s new GRP garage door collection,
delivers on all aspects with a variety of
designs, selection of standard and purpose
made sizes, as well as a choice of 18 colours
and timber effect finishes.
Dating back to the 16th Century, the building
is named after Queen Elizabeth 1’s famous
‘spymaster’, who lived in Seething Lane.
Slate Grey (RAL 7015) is the perfect
colour for those wanting to add a modern
look to their build. The new shade offers
a soft formality that is perfect for modern
living, giving a distinctive style especially
appropriate for Garador’s steel up & over
garage doors.
The space was transformed into modern
offices, with a reception area and multiple
floors of newly-designed workspaces.
W20 and MW40 windows were fitted
throughout the building and the company also
refurbished some internal screens.
Slate Grey (RAL 7015) is now available for all
the doors in Garador’s steel Up & Over range,
including its popular vertically lined Carlton
design and more modern door designs like
the Design Range 210 (pictured).

These include colours such as green, blue
and gloss white, as well as timber effects like
Light Oak, Irish Oak, Dark Mahogany and
Golden Brown.
In addition to the grp door designs with the
appearance of Georgian panel pressings,
there are also grp doors with a wooden
boarded design, such as the Glastonbury and
Somerset. The new grp doors are built around
a steel box section chassis, with the grp infill
in the middle. Two back braces are used to
reinforce the door panel on the back of the
door for up and over models.
