A world first from Milwood Group at FIT

Group, reveals just some of the
exciting new products which will be
on show at Stand K70 – including a
world first.
After a number of successful
appearances, we are absolutely
delighted to be exhibiting once again
at The FIT Show in 2019.
Since the last FIT Show in 2017, much
has changed here at the Milwood
Group and we are heading to the NEC
in Birmingham with a number of
exciting new product lines which we
very much look forward to unveiling.
Whilst we’ve kept our cards close to
our chest throughout development,
we are proud to finally announce
that will be showcasing Ali-deck, the
world’s first quick fit, slip resistant
aluminium decking system.
It’s a bold new direction for us and
one that we have been working on
in-house for a long time. We firmly
believe we’ve identified a unique and
valuable opportunity for tradespeople,
and anticipate a busy couple of days
when doors open in May.
Why are we so confident? Well, not
only is Ali-deck faster to install than
both timber and composite decking,
it’s far safer and can span 300%
further than traditional decking. Ali-
deck is perfect for both domestic and
commercial settings whether it’s for
patios, balconies, walkways, bridges
or commercial dining areas. The
opportunities are endless.
Best of all, Ali-deck offers something
that is completely unique and is
highly-desirable, allowing savvy
installers to achieve greater margins
on their projects.
In fact, with the continued growth
of the outdoor living market,
tradespeople can pair Ali-deck with
one of our in-demand aluminium
shelters. This combination can
then expertly complement a new
aluminium bifold or patio door to
create a premium outdoor living
space.
The development of Ali-deck is
underpinned by our extensive
aluminium experience as the original
outdoor living specialist. And of
course, in addition to Ali-deck, we will
be showcasing our range of premium
aluminium verandas, canopies,
carports and pergolas.
These are the systems which are
helping over 150 trade partners
nationwide capitalise on the buoyant
outdoor living market.
It’s a range which will also see a new
addition as we officially launch our
new Simplicity Xtra veranda at The
FIT Show. Joining our renowned
Simplicity range, the new Xtra
system gives tradespeople a roof
system which is simple to install
without compromising on quality or
performance.
Along with the Easy Glaze system,
Simplicity Xtra features 6mm glass
as standard, with upgrade options
including self-cleaning and tinted
glass. Visitors at the show will be
able to see the sleek design in person,
achieved in part by the intelligent
integrated guttering.
Not only is Xtra available in any
length with posts every four metres,
the system can also achieve a four-
metre projection, making it perfect for
any size of property or outside space.

Furthermore, it is available in any
RAL colour with White and Anthracite
Grey available as standard.
As to be expected from a Milwood
veranda, there are plenty of
opportunities for installers to increase
their order values, with a full range
of upgrades. These include remote-
controlled LED lighting, wall mounted
heaters and the Victorian upgrade
which gives the system period style
posts and embellishments.
Ultimately, we are looking forward
to meeting both old and new faces
at The FIT Show, with plenty to see
for both fabricators and installers.
