Safer Heating For SEN School
Safe surface temperature specialists, Contour,
have recently completed a project with
Walton Hall Academy to provide LST safety
radiator guards to the school that will protect
students from burns and reduce the risk of
injuries around their radiators.
Walton Hall is a special educational needs
school in Staffordshire. Their previous
radiator covers needed to be replaced to
allow staff easier access for cleaning and
maintenance as students were often pushing
small items through the grilles.

schools problems. Pre-cut VIVIX Lap planks are applied in
an overlap arrangement, providing a classic
cladding style, with a modern twist. Aimed
at residential and commercial audiences,
including installers and self-builders, VIVIX
Lap planks can be applied to everything from
new build housing and renovation projects,
garden offices, sheds and garages, to
commercial business parks and retail outlets.

StrongFix - improved support
from Norbord
Sometimes, even the simple task of hanging
a picture or a mirror on an interior partition
wall has been fraught with difficulty due to
the common challenge of a weak plasterboard
substrate.
That is no longer a problem thanks to
Norbord’s SterlingOSB Zero StrongFix.
Specifically designed for dry lining
applications, SterlingOSB Zero StrongFix is
a precision engineered oriented strand board
(OSB) with a special groove machined into
the edge for metal C-studs at 600mm centres.
SterlingOSB Zero StrongFix is supplied in
18mm-thick, 2,400mm x 597mm panels with
50 sheets per pack. Non-standard sizes are
