CROSSMAN HOMES TO BREATHE NEW LIFE INTO BRISTOL’S WHITFIELD TABERNACLE Bristol’s iconic Whitfield Tabernacle, one of the most at risk Grade One listed buildings in the UK, has taken a big step towards being saved thanks to a partnership between Crossman Homes and the Whitfield Tabernacle Trust.  The building dating back to 1741 and widely regarded as the birthplace of the Methodist movement will be renovated and redeveloped as a community space. ARP’s Legion pressed aluminium box gutter and Colonnade aluminium flushjoint downpipes, both Polyester Powder Coated (PPC) in RAL 9005 black matt finish were the products chosen and samples of the product and PPC colours were supplied to the client, so he could be assured of the quality. Simon Ellis, Crossman Homes said: “We’re delighted to be part of this exciting development.  Our involvement provides the first realistic proposition that this ‘at risk’ Grade One Listed building can be saved from collapse, bringing it back into good use for the community.” Tel: 0116 289 4400. www.arp-ltd.com Email: [email protected] www.crossmanhomes.co.uk Helifix Dixie micro-piles used to support Air Chief Marshal statue More typically used to support and stabilise buildings, the versatile Helifix Dixie piled foundation system has recently been installed at The Battle of Britain Bunker Museum, RAF Uxbridge, to support a statue of World War II hero, Air Chief Marshal, Sir Keith Park.
