into building sector supporting a

The unique design of the JCB teletruk
gives customers the ability to get into
places where no other forklift can by
utilising the boom, load/unload lorries
from one side beneficial when working
within cities and the front end set up
makes the machine a great tool carrier,
being able to swap between, forks,
buckets, bag fillers, booms, hooks etc
etc.

Every year APC Forks nominates a
charity and produce a machine in
different livery, where the profits are
donated to support that cause, with
it being 100 year anniversary of the
ending of World War 1 there seemed
nothing more appropiate than selecting
“The Royal British Legion”, with the
machines livery being the Union
Jack. We are delighted than one of
our customers has had the machine

Buildbase – one of the UK’s fastest
growing builders’ merchants with over
165 branches nationwide – has taken
delivery of a specially-commissioned
JCB Teletruk featuring a patriotic ‘Union
Jack’ paint finish.
The truck was supplied by APC Forks,
operator of the largest hire fleet of JCB
Teletruks in the UK.
Each year APC commission a Teletruk
with a unique livery and donate the
profit from the truck’s hire to charity.
This year The Royal British Legion will
benefit.
The ‘Union Jack’ Teletruk is in operation
at Buildbase’s five-acre Stoke-on-Trent
facility where it undertakes a range of
handling duties.
Buildbase has operated Teletruks across
its business for over a decade and the
‘Union Jack’ truck replaces a machine

that had been working at the Stoke-on-
Trent site for 14 years.
“All hire profits from Buildbase’s
‘Union Jack’ Teletruk will go to The
Royal British Legion and help to
support the excellent work that that
organisation does,” says APC Forks
director, Stuart Hunter.”
APC Forks is a trading division of
Arnold Plant Hire Ltd and to further
enhance there chosen charity The Royal
British Legion have been the successful
bidder is a specially commissioned JCB
excavator covered in poppies, donated
by JCB themselves which they auctioned
off with all proceeds going to The
British Legion.
