There’s no disputing the power of flame. It’s striking, eye-catching and creates a feeling of comfort regardless of the outside temperature. But using flame as a design element and incorporating it into spaces comes with some challenges. Architects, designers and builders need to consider flexibility of the install, health and safety aspects and, all-importantly, cost. As a result, flame installations are often left out of designs or not considered at all. 84
